Since 1969, our girls' camp has provided a friendly, positive and supportive atmosphere. At the core of Pleasant Valley's rich tradition is the group living experience, offering an atmosphere of cooperation while stressing the worth of each individual. Campers and staff from around the world join together in creating a community of respect, teamwork and self-discovery.
At Pleasant Valley, girls have the opportunity to learn new skills, challenge themselves with different activities, forge bonds of friendship and develop lifelong interests. Every girl participates in a well-rounded experience that consists of a broad range of activities. Each session, campers select four activities to create their own individual schedule.

- Operates adjacent to Brother Camp, North Woods for Boys
- Campers are grouped into 3 sections
- Each camper designs her own daily schedule on the first night of camp
- All campers participate in an instructional swimming program
- Free choice periods and rest periods are incorporated into every day
- Special activities and events take place weekly and include overnights, co-ed days with North Woods, socials, and theme days
- Pleasant Valley is one of the YMCA of Greater Boston's Signature Programs
