Registration Rates
Camp Fees depend on the program/s chosen. Complete instructions on payment procedures for North Woods and Pleasant Valley Camps will follow after programs are chosen and online forms or application card is completed and submitted to Camp. Payment by credit card is required to submit an online registration form. YMCA of Greater Boston accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express and will process your credit card after the form has been submitted to them electronically
Pricing Structure
We realize that families have differing abilities to pay. This program is voluntary and in no way influences the fabulous experience all children receive. This offers the opportunity for families to take an active role in their child’s Camp experience. Word of mouth is our best marketing tool, so tell a friend! As always, additional financial assistance is available.
- Benefactor: are vital to supporting Camp by allowing us to purchase the supplies, like boats, water toys, ropes course adventures and more. You also help us to make the much needed facility repairs due to annual wear and tear. Camp is 80 years old and there is so much to do!
- Camper: The camper level is our standard subsidized fee. This is the basic cost for attending Camp. In an effort to provide access for all, the YMCA subsidizes all of its programs through scholarship campaigns, grants and committed donors. It is an important part of our mission. It does not truly reflect the cost of operating Camp, but is provided to assure that all families can afford to experience Camp. This is a small increase over our 2009 fee.
- Friend: The friend level provides for a larger subsidy for families who are in need of further assistance. We know that our parents understand how valuable the Camp experience is, but may be experiencing economic pressures. In our continued efforts to support families please choose this rate if your family needs it in order to still provide your child with a great summer experience.
Financial Assistance
Pleasant Valley Camp is open to all families regardless of income, ability, race or religion. Through the YMCA's ACCESS program families who cannot afford the full price of camp tuition may qualify for assistance (up to 40% based on income and family size) Click here to get an access application.
